چکیده

Tropical Newton-Puiseux polynomials, defined as piece-wise linear functions with rational coefficients of the variables, play a role tropical algebraic functions. We provide explicit formulas for polynomials being zeroes univariate polynomial parametric coefficients.

Dynamic Newton–Puiseux Theorem

A constructive version of Newton–Puiseux theorem for computing the Puiseux expansions of algebraic curves is presented. The proof is based on a classical proof by Abhyankar. Algebraic numbers are evaluated dynamically; hence the base field need not be algebraically closed and a factorization algorithm of polynomials over the base field is not needed. The extensions obtained are a type of regula...

Newton-puiseux Roots of Jacobian Determinants

Abstract. Let f(x, y), g(x, y) denote either a pair of holomorphic function germs, or a pair of monic polynomials in x whose coefficients are Laurent series in y. A polar root is a Newton-Puiseux root, x = γ(y), of the Jacobian J = fygx − fxgy, but not a root of f · g. We define the tree-model, T (f, g), for the pair, using the set of contact orders of the Newton-Puiseux roots of f and g. Our m...

An application of generalized Newton Puiseux Expansions

Let k denote the ground field. Let R be the coordinate ring of an affine curve over k with one place at infinity. Let v denote the valuation associated with the place at infinity and let Γ(R) denote the corresponding value semigroup consisting of all the values of nonzero elements of R. If R is a plane curve (meaning generated by two elements over k) and k is algebraically closed and characteri...
